Abstract
This research aims to identify a pattern of devotion neighborhood centers in the area of Makkah Al-Mukarramah. The objective of this study is to apply a measured criterion for selecting an optimal location for designated neighborhood centers. The hypotheses of study intend to verify the locations of the neighborhood centers after determination in coordination with their coordinates on the area of Makkah Al-Mukarramah map. Depending on the application methods of utilizing a number of spatial statistical analyses to be further used into the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software to reveal the general visualization distribution of the interactive neighborhood centers within the municipal divisions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah area. However, the rates of divergence and coefficient of concentration would be based on population numbers along with the established area as a major influencing factor. The distribution and amount of service measured between the municipal divisions which rely on the coefficient of relative importance. The aggregation index and rate of dispersal adopt the method of closest allocation and the method of neighborhood relevance to determine the pattern of distribution. Finally, the estimated number of neighborhood centers base on the service capacity and characteristics of space with low concentration that indicate the enhanced equality of distribution between the municipal divisions. Thus, the increase in the scattering coefficient indicates the regularity of neighborhood centers distribution; which shall confirm by the neighborhood link associated with the method of allocation areas. This approach refers to the expansion of the sphere of influence of the centers as mandates the redistribution of neighborhood centers to achieve the principle of justice in distribution. In this study, our proposed distribution map is a unique approach that could assist in enhancing a natural, urban standards and conditions in order to achieve fair distribution.
